Job Description
Dynatrace is seeking a strategic and visionary leader to join us as the Director of Post-Sales Portfolio Management. This role will be a key member of our leadership team, responsible for leading the development, management, and optimization of our service offerings to drive customer adoption, retention, and revenue growth. This role will involve defining the strategic direction for our offerings, collaborating with cross-functional teams to develop and launch new offerings, and continuously optimizing and enhancing existing offerings to meet evolving market needs and customer expectations. The ideal candidate will be a dynamic leader with a strong business acumen, deep understanding of SaaS business models, and a passion for driving innovation and customer success.
Responsibilities
- Strategic Planning: Develop and drive the strategic direction for our service offerings, aligning with company goals, market trends, and customer needs to drive customer satisfaction, retention, and revenue growth.
- Service Offering Development: Lead the development and optimization of our service offerings, collaborating with cross-functional teams including product management, engineering, marketing, sales, and customer success, to define, develop, and launch new offerings and enhance existing ones.
- Go-to-Market Strategy: Develop and execute go-to-market strategies for new service offerings, including pricing, packaging, positioning, messaging, and sales enablement, to drive successful launch and adoption in the market.
- Customer Engagement: Engage with customers to understand their needs, challenges, and feedback related to service offerings, and use insights to continuously improve and optimize offerings and customer experience.
- Performance Monitoring: Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to monitor the performance and impact of service offerings, and use data and analytics to drive insights, identify areas for improvement, and measure success.
- Team Leadership: Lead and mentor a team of service offer managers and specialists, providing guidance, support, and development opportunities to ensure their success and professional growth.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including product management, engineering, marketing, sales, and customer success, to ensure alignment and coordination in delivering value to customers and driving business success.
Qualifications
Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
- Proven experience (5 years) in product management, marketing, or business development roles within the software industry, with a focus on defining, developing, and managing service offerings.
Preferred Requirements
- Deep understanding of SaaS business models, enterprise software solutions, and market dynamics, with a track record of driving customer satisfaction, retention, and revenue growth.
- Strong strategic thinking, analytical, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate market insights and customer needs into actionable strategies and plans.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate and build relationships with cross-functional teams and external stakeholders.
- Results-oriented mindset with a focus on driving business impact and delivering measurable results.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt quickly to changing priorities and requirements.
- Highly organized with strong project management skills and the ability to prioritize and manage multiple initiatives simultaneously.
- Some travel will be required but will typically be less than 25%.
- This role will have people leader responsibilities.

DOE, annual salary of $172,000 - $210,000 plus Health, Dental, Life, STD, LTD, 401k, PTO. Total compensation may vary depending on candidate experience, education, and location.
