This is a leasing only position at a portfolio of properties in the Pacific Northwest. This position will be solely a sales focused role.
The base salary for this position is $50,000/annually with leasing bonuses in place for the opportunity to make $100,000/annually.
Our ideal candidate is someone who is heavily sales focused, professional, personable, approachable, and willing to be hands-on and really take ownership of their sales goals. This candidate should be comfortable operating independently and should be highly self-motivated.
Candidate must also have employment history that demonstrates knowledge of property management, sales, marketing, and customer service. They must also have the capacity to handle customer complaints in an effective manner. Candidate must have strong communication skills which will include explaining legal documents, apartment features, and marketing the property in an effective manner. Candidate must be comfortable using technology such as Microsoft Excel, Word & Outlook.
Job Duties & Functions:
- Lease apartments units at a variety of buildings throughout Portland.
- Represent the Atlas brand, missions, and goals in a professional and positive manner at all times.
- Provide superior customer service and communication to prospective residents, while always maintaining a positive reputation and Atlas’s brand, mission, and goals.
- Maintain constant communication with direct supervisor(s) and when applicable Atlas leadership, which may require regular phone calls, emails, or in-person meetings.
- Be available for direct supervisor and Atlas employees by phone and email.
- Directly oversee leasing operations and have knowledge of all assigned properties.
- Ensure the accuracy of personal hours recorded.
- Adhere to and maintain current knowledge regarding Oregon and/or Washington landlord tenant law, state and federal fair housing laws, and demonstrated understanding and knowledge of rental agreements, addendums, and all other necessary contracts, and the ability to explain to all applicable parties.
- Document and report accidents, emergency situations, and property damage to direct supervisor, and when applicable the corporate office.
- Attend all training and development curriculums assigned by Atlas.
- Maintain neat and legible records in AppFolio and Dropbox.
- Provide expertise and solutions to direct supervisor.
- Utilize AppFolio in accordance with specific role.
- Adhere to company policies, procedures, and Atlas Management Employee Handbook.
- Attend team meetings to team build, motivate, review, overcome challenges, answer questions, and relay pertinent company information.
- Conduct property tours and move-in appointments in accordance with Local, State Federal laws (Fair Housing, Landlord Tenant Laws, OSHA, etc.) as well as Atlas’s policies and procedures.
- Communicate requests/questions/concerns to Property Operator and/or proper Atlas Team Member.
- Maintain physical occupancy at or above 95% at all assigned properties.
- If approached at property by resident or vendor, redirect communications to proper Atlas Team Member. Do not accept physical payments or documents.
Preferred Qualifications & Experience:
- Reliable Transportation - Required
- Clean Driving record - Required
- High School diploma or Equivalent - Required
- 2+ Years Property Management Experience - Preferred
- AppFolio Experience – Preferred
- Tenant Tech Experience – Preferred
- Customer Service Expert – Preferred
- Knowledge of ORLTA - Required
- Fair Housing Knowledge - Required
