Duties:
- Handle high-level and strategic legal matters at various stages of progression, ensuring thorough and timely management of cases.
- Communicate effectively with attorneys and clients, demonstrating strong interpersonal skills.
- Produce high-quality legal work and ensure the required billing hours to meet client service expectations.
- Manage business and contribute to generating new business through both group and individual efforts.
- Adhere to the highest ethical standards of the legal profession.
- Independently handle complex legal issues and show a strong commitment to advancing a career in litigation.
Requirements:
- Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited institution.
- Ph.D. or Master's Degree in a Life Sciences discipline is preferred.
- Expertise in immunology, genetics, molecular biology, and/or pharmaceuticals is highly preferred.
- Registered to practice before the United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO).
- Licensed to practice law in good standing in New Jersey.
- 6+ years of experience as a licensed attorney at a law firm, with a preference for candidates with more than 6 years of experience.
- Previous experience in legal clerking or working in a law firm is required.
Education:
- Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.
- A Ph.D. or Master's Degree in a relevant Life Sciences discipline is preferred.
Certifications:
- Registered to practice before the USPTO.
- Licensed to practice law in New Jersey.
Skills:
