Description
We are currently seeking an experienced Environmental Project Manager to join our environmental team in a fully remote capacity. This role focuses on delivering environmental services and strategies for midstream pipeline projects, including natural gas, hydrogen, and crude oil. Candidates must have experience with FERC Section 7 and Third-party EIS documentation.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage multiple projects from routing/siting to construction compliance.
- Direct resource teams on environmental studies and permit applications (including FERC Section 7 and Third-party EIS documents).
- Coordinate with federal, state, and local agencies.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams (engineers, attorneys, GIS analysts, etc.).
- Communicate with the public and stakeholders at hearings and meetings.
- Oversee project scope, budget, schedule, and forecasting.
- Engage in business development and attend industry conferences.
- Conduct field reviews and compliance inspections.
Qualifications
- B.S. or B.A. in Environmental Planning, Geography, Environmental Science, or a related field.
- 10+ years in environmental licensing and permitting of pipelines.
- Expertise in FERC regulations and federal environmental regulations.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Self-starter with strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

- Professional certifications (optional).
Tools and Processes
- Experience with MS Project, Teams for video meetings, MS Dynamics for reporting and tracking.
- Participation in weekly team meetings, monthly department meetings, and quarterly division meetings.
