Moe's Southwest Grill in Hartford County is looking to add a traveling General Manager to our team.
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Works with staff to achieve sales goals
- Build rapport with all General Managers at each location and facilitate operations
- Helps in the hiring and training process at our operating locations
- Build a rapport with guests and deliver superior customer service
- Respond to customer complaints and concerns in a positive and professional manner
- Learn restaurant philosophy, menus, and operational systems
- Provide training and mentoring to new crew members
- Directly manage crew members, shift leads, and assistant managers
- Anticipate and identify problems and initiate appropriate corrective action
- Labor management
- Adhere to sanitation and safety standards
- PCI compliance
- Additional duties and responsibilities as assigned
Qualifications:
- Management experience in food service or another related field is required
- Experience in controlling food, labor, and other operating costs
- Ability to multi-task and execute in a fast-paced environment
- Able to work long and/or irregular shifts, including extra shifts, as needed, for proper functioning of the restaurant (day/evening, weekends, and some holidays)
- Experience with people management, resolving conflict, and able to nurture, train, coach, mentor, and hold team members accountable
- High level of initiative and self-motivated
- Strong organizational skills, time management, and deadline-oriented
- Possess solid communication (verbal and written) and interpersonal skills
- Must have reliable transportation
Requirements:

- Must be able to respond to simple complaints or inquiries from customers
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $63,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
