What You’ll Do
- Strategic Oversight and Planning: Be the architect of our revenue cycle strategy, aligning it with our broader business goals. Set and measure KPIs, implement continuous improvements, and drive initiatives that accelerate cash flow. Defining a strategic vision will be pivotal in enhancing our operational efficiency and ensuring we stay ahead of industry trends.
- Operational Management: Oversee the daily operations of our Revenue Cycle team, optimizing processes such as credentialing and billing. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline patient billing and collections, refine policies, and conduct audits. Influence our ability to manage patient accounts effectively and maintain smooth operations.
- Talent Management: Foster a high-performing environment that drives excellence. Collaborate with HR to recruit and train top talent, set performance goals, and nurture the professional growth of your team.
- Financial Management: Be central to achieving our financial targets, including managing A/R days, cash collections, and bad debt. Prepare financial forecasts and monitor receivables to proactively address potential issues.
- Regulatory Compliance: Remain current with regulatory changes and ensuring compliance with policies related to private payers, Medicare, Medicaid, and managed care.
Who You Are
- Proven Experience: 10+ years of progressive experience in RCM, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role. Demonstrated success in developing and implementing revenue cycle strategies that drive financial performance and operational efficiency.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree required. Advanced degree preferred.
- Strategic: Thrive in strategic roles where your insights can drive significant improvements and growth. You’re not only adept at managing complex operational challenges but also skilled in collaborating across functions to achieve shared goals.
- Financial Manager: Strong background in financial management and a keen understanding of regulatory compliance, you have the expertise to lead and inspire your team. Your passion for developing talent and optimizing processes will be key to your success in this role.
- Effective Communicator: Convey information clearly, adapt to different audiences, resolve conflicts diplomatically, and maintain professionalism while fostering engagement and trust.
- Critical Thinking Skills: Systematic analysis of information, careful evaluation of options, and strategic decision-making to address revenue cycle challenges and drive positive outcomes for both patients and CoreLife.
