IT Manager/Architect - Data Services Group

The position is in the Office of the Chief Financial Officer, Office of the Chief Information Officer (OCIO), Data Services Group. The incumbent plans, directs, and coordinates the work of IT staff responsible for the analysis, planning, design, implementation, documentation, assessment, and management of the enterprise's structural framework to align IT strategy, plans, and systems with the organization's mission and goals.
Duties include but are not limited to:
- Designing and architecting data warehouses, schemas, and architectures; implementing revisions to IT systems to sustain appropriate system performance, data retention policies, archiving strategies, and security measures to protect sensitive data; communicating with IT teams, such as network, security, and database teams, to ensure smooth operation and integration of web services.
- Partnering with internal and external stakeholders to develop requirements, architect solutions, and statements of work.
- Performing other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications
Seven (7) years of progressive work experience performing related duties and responsibilities such as: performing IT security, systems analysis, and data management; developing information technology enterprise architecture plans; analyzing enterprise issues and requirements to develop effective solutions; and performing data management, warehousing, and database design including Oracle, SQL, and/or related technologies. Incumbent must have at least two (2) years of work experience supervising lower-level staff.
