How Is This Role Important to Our Work?
As a key member of the leadership team, the Director of Acquisitions will lead the evaluation and execution of all acquisition opportunities that support beBright’s long-term strategy. Acquisitions are a key part of our growth, and this role will have a significant and direct influence on the Company’s success. The role will also be responsible for evaluating new markets for beBright to enter.
The Contributions You Will Make
- Lead execution and manage the day-to-day operations of executing all aspects of a transaction (i.e., preparation of information materials, conducting due diligence, coordination with outside advisors, assisting the team with client matters on a day-to-day basis, etc.).
- Foster cross-functional collaboration to execute transactions in a timely manner
- Develop and present materials outlining key analysis, findings, and recommendations to senior leadership and the board
- Lead the ongoing evolution of our growth strategy in close partnership with the Head of Strategy and Acquisitions, identifying new markets, new partnerships and denovo opportunities
- Stay abreast of the competitive landscape and recent market developments
- Monitor execution performance against strategic priorities via well-formed processes and communicate effectively on progress and critical decisions to senior audiences through well-structured written and oral presentations
- Develop strong, collaborative working relationships with business and functional leaders, providing thought leadership and data-driven analysis to support their decision-making
- Effectively lead and manage multiple projects concurrently
The Characteristics Which Will Make You an Ideal Candidate:
- 5+ years related work experience.
- Prior transaction execution experience in corporate development, transaction advisory, private equity, or investment banking.
- Have the maturity and confidence to interface with senior leaders and ability to work with cross-functional teams.
- Ability to work directly with Sellers as a senior member representing beBright.
- High emotional quotient (EQ).
- Strong interpersonal and influencing skills with the ability to build collaborative relationships and interact with colleagues at all levels.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to work on numerous projects simultaneously.
- Driven to get tasks done promptly with strong attention to detail.
- Ability to drive team and processes.
- Continuous improvement mindset
