THE ROLE:
The RTG (Radeon Technologies Group) Architecture team in Folsom, CA is looking for a Software Machine Learning (ML) Architect who will be responsible for designing and implementing ML/AI solutions in our next generation GPU and ML products. You will work closely with the cross-functional teams to do architecture exploration, modeling, and analysis of ML/HPC workloads. Through your experiments and analysis, you will provide valuable insight into new and emerging hardware and software technologies that will go into next generation GPU and ML products.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Analyze algorithms and develop scalable AI/ML models.
- Collaborate with product and engineering teams to integrate AI/ML solutions into company's products.
- Work with architects to propose innovative solutions that can be implemented in HW.
- Conduct data exploration and collect/summarize data. Derive solutions backed by data to improve model accuracy.
PREFERRED EXPERIENCE:
- Knowledge of GPU architectures, basic knowledge of CPU architectures.
- Knowledge of ML networks, Tensorflow/Pytorch.
- Knowledge of Graphics/Compute APIs (CUDA/OpenCL/Vulkan etc.).
- Knowledge of OS/device drivers is a plus.
- Excellent C/C++/Scripting (Python, etc.) experience.
- Knowledge of data structures, data modeling, and software architecture.
ACADEMIC CREDENTIALS:
- Undergrad degree required. Bachelor of Science or Masters degree with emphasis in Electrical Engineering, Computer architecture, or Computer Science is preferred.
Location: Folsom, CA preferred - San Diego, CA - Santa Clara, CA.
