Part-Time 20 hours
- Screens gynecologic and non-gynecologic cytologic material; reviewing with pathologists all non-gynecologic and all atypical/abnormal gynecologic specimens.
- Performs specimen processing of cytologic material for evaluation by cytotechnologists and pathologists, according to Standard Operating Procedures, as necessary.
- Adheres to all QA/QC standards of the department; including submitting for peer review a random 10% of all negative gynecologic cases.
- Maintains an effective working relationship with pathologists.
- Participates in proficiency surveys and successfully completes federally mandated annual PT examination.

Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in medical technology or a science from an accredited school.
- Must be CLIA eligible for High Complexity Testing.
- Certification in Cytology, CT (ASCP or IAC).
- Minimum of 3 years cytology experience preferred.
