THE UNIVERSITY OF CHICAGO LAW SCHOOL seeks to appoint outstanding scholars to tenure-track positions starting July 1, 2025. We seek the best candidates without regard to specialization. Faculty members are expected to conduct original research of exceptionally high quality, to excel as teachers, and to exhibit the highest level of engagement in the life of the Law School. All candidates will be judged on their potential to perform at this level, taking into account factors that include grades, publications, recommendations, experience, and ability. In assessing potential contributions to the life of the Law School, we value candidates who will contribute diverse backgrounds and perspectives that will enrich and improve student experiences and the Law School's intellectual culture.
