Title: Technology Chief of Staff
Location: Dallas, TX. On site daily. No remote. Prefer local candidates. If you are not in the Dallas, TX area, you must be open to relocation.
Compensation: $250K to $350K base plus significant bonus potential.

Job Description:
A senior role in supporting the Chief Information Technology Officer (CITO) in managing the information technology function and aligning them with the overall strategic goals of the organization.
Overview
- The technology chief of staff is responsible for overseeing the technology strategy and functional alignment with the portfolio companies.
- The technology chief of staff leads the technology project portfolio, agile methodologies and performance reporting for the organization.
- The technology chief of staff works closely with the CITO, the technology leadership team, and the business stakeholders to ensure that the technology function delivers value, efficiency, and innovation.
- The technology chief of staff also acts as a liaison between the technology function and the executive team, the portfolio companies, and external partners.
Responsibilities
- Lead and support the agile transformation initiatives across the technology function.
- Develop and execute the technology strategy and roadmap in alignment with the business goals and priorities.
- Coordinate and facilitate the technology governance, planning, budgeting, and resource allocation processes.
- Manage and monitor the technology portfolio, projects, and programs, ensuring timely delivery, quality, and value.
- Establish and maintain the dashboard and reporting framework for the technology function, providing visibility, transparency, and insights to the stakeholders.
- Communicate and collaborate effectively with the CITO, the technology leadership team, the business stakeholders, the executive team, the portfolio companies, and external partners.
Skillset / Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or related field. Master's degree or MBA preferred.
- At least 10 years of experience in technology management, project management, or consulting roles.
- Proven track record of leading and delivering complex technology projects and programs.
- Ability to understand complex ideas and summarize them.
- Action oriented with a bias on driving results.
- Able to influence cross functional teams leading to successful outcomes.
- Strong knowledge and experience in technology strategy, governance, architecture, and innovation.
- Expertise in change management, agile methodologies, and performance reporting.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic, and collaborative environment.
