Computer Network Operations (CNO) Developer - Unix, Senior

Currently, ManTech is seeking a motivated, career and customer-oriented Computer Network Operations (CNO) Developer - Unix III to join our team in the DMV area. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Manages the designing, developing, documenting, testing, debugging, and maintenance of hardware or software-based CNO capabilities against Unix/Linux systems.
- Applies knowledge of security concepts and networks.
- Communicates status with leadership and customers.
- Ensures software standards are met.
- Supervises and mentors subordinate project staff and collaborates with other CNO Developers.
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in an IT-related discipline.
- Five or more (5+) years of relevant experience in a similar position.
- Proficiency in C/C++ programming.
- Proficiency in low-level internals of Unix/Linux operating systems.
- Proficiency with networking (TCP/IP) and socket level programming.
- Experience with CI/CD pipeline/DevSecOps development.
- If a candidate does not have a degree at all, four (4) additional years of experience are required.
- If a candidate holds an Associates degree rather than a Bachelor's degree, two (2) additional years of experience are required.
Preferred Qualifications:
- CNO capability development experience.
- Software Analysis/Reverse Engineering experience.
- Understanding of assembly programming concepts.
- Experience using Atlassian products (JIRA, Confluence, Crucible).
- Relevant industry standard certifications such as Certified Entry-Level Python Programmer (PCEP) or C++ Certified Professional Programmer Certification (CPP).
Clearance Requirements:
- This role requires an active TS/SCI clearance.
Physical Requirements:
- Must be able to be in a stationary position more than 50% of the time.
- Must be able to communicate, converse, and exchange information with peers and senior personnel.
- Constantly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a computer.
- The person in this position frequently communicates with co-workers, management, and customers, which may involve delivering presentations. Must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations.
- The person in this position needs to occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, etc.
Projected Compensation: The projected compensation range for this position is $134,700-$224,700. There are differentiating factors that can impact a final salary/hourly rate, including, but not limited to, Contract Wage Determination, relevant work experience, skills and competencies that align to the specified role, geographic location (For Remote Opportunities), education and certifications as well as Federal Government Contract Labor categories. In addition, ManTech invests in its employees beyond just compensation.
