World Learning seeks a Program Coordinator to join the Global Networks team. Working with the Program Manager and Program Officer, the Program Coordinator will make logistical arrangements and provide administrative support for the team's exchange programs, including the US Speaker Program and the Professional Fellows Programs.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Arrange program logistics, specifically booking travel, ground transportation, hotels, meeting space, disbursement of per diem for the US Speaker Program;
- Develop prospective program calendars and itineraries and arrange professional appointments;
- Coordinate with contracted visa service company to arrange participants' visas and passports as needed;
- Communicate with participants and the State Department on a daily basis to coordinate travel, obtain necessary documents, and provide required program information;
- Write, prepare and disburse necessary program materials;
- Assist with financial aspects of program arrangements, including per diem requests and receipts, checks for vendors, and invoices, ensuring that all financial transactions are executed in compliance with accounting and procurement procedures and requirements;
- Draft program announcements and program highlights;
- Prepare and maintain program files and databases;
- Author program reports and other writing assignments;
- Manage group travel when needed;
- Handle other tasks as needed.
REQUIREMENTS
Required Experience/Education:
- Minimum education requirement: Bachelor's degree; Minimum number of years of experience required: 1-3 years
- Equivalent education/experience can substitute for all required qualifications except where there are specific constraints noted, such as a license/certification/registration or eligibility requirements stipulated by a U.S. Government contract.

Required Skills:
- Demonstrated accuracy, attention to detail, and organizational ability;
- Proven strong written skills, including ability to effectively summarize key points and address a diversity of professional subjects;
- Strong oral communication skills in English;
- Computer and internet proficiency, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint and other web-based tools;
- Professional experience with social media tools and platforms preferred;
- Experience with living/studying/working abroad preferred;
- Foreign language skills preferred.
