The Role:
As Director of Product Marketing, you are responsible for crafting compelling messaging and positioning for our products, ensuring alignment with market needs and driving successful go-to-market strategies. This team collaborates closely with product, GTM, sales, and other cross-functional teams to achieve our business objectives.
Responsibilities:
- Complete a detailed product-market fit analysis and competitive mapping, resulting in a defined competitive advantage and increased market share.
- Create significant uplift in product opportunity identification and capture through comprehensive market intelligence efforts.
- Develop core product metrics in partnership with the product team to craft product marketing KPIs.
- Ensure collaboration with the demand generation, sales, operations, and customer success teams to drive pipeline acceleration with product launches and sustaining product motions.
- Lead the development of crisp product messaging and positioning (including product value propositions) for audiences, ICPs, and personas to drive the overall product marketing strategy.
- Integrate portfolio product marketing approaches vs. a series of linear launches.
- Develop customer segmentation against the backdrop of market trends and competitive landscape, to define competitive advantage or right to win.
- Own product-market fit analysis, competitive mapping/analysis, and market intelligence.
- Work with product strategy leads on market intelligence initiatives to sharpen ‘where to play’ and ‘how to win’ decisions.
- Lead launches across all tiers, from new product introductions to customer retention upgrades.
- Partner with the GTM team on launch design and evolutions for launch tiers, and execution.
- Review and refine critical GTM assets including product sheets, pitch decks, etc.
- Use performance data, best practices and trends to make adjustments to GTM assets as needed.
- Partner with sales strategy on themes/plays in market.
- Partner with the demand gen team to collaborate on campaign strategy and messaging that aligns with value propositions.
- Present at company-led customer events, internal events, and industry conferences/panels.
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience in product marketing.
- Proven experience in product marketing, with a track record of driving successful product launches and customer adoption.
- Experience working in a marketing function that serves healthcare, life sciences, or health tech industries.
- Prior experience developing product messaging and positioning aligned with market needs.
- Effective leadership and communication skills.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Experience in portfolio product marketing and working with demand generation, GTM, and sales team.

The expected base salary for this position ranges from $130,000 to $170,000. In addition to base salary and a competitive benefits package, successful candidates are eligible to receive a discretionary bonus.
