Job Description Summary
The Medical University of South Carolina (MUSC) Department of Pediatrics seeks a Pediatrician to join pediatricians in a new practice site in the Greater Charleston area. This position is expected to spend the majority of time at the MUSC Children's Health Maybank Highway. As the practice builds, early on it is expected that this provider will fill in as needed at the other clinical practices in North Charleston and Daniel Island for at least the first year of hire. The provider will be a full member of the Division of General Pediatrics, sharing newborn and circumcision weekend and holiday coverage at the Shawn Jenkins Children's Hospital. There will be opportunities for an expanded role in the newborn nursery if desired.

Job Description
The Medical University of South Carolina (MUSC) Department of Pediatrics seeks a Pediatrician to join pediatricians in a new practice site in the Greater Charleston area. Ideal Candidates:
- Medical Doctor, or equivalent
- Board Certified or Eligible by the ABP
- Commitment to MUSC’s educational missions
- Eligible for licensure in South Carolina
- Strong interest in working with both typical as well as medically complex children
- Comfort with seeing Level I newborns, performing newborn circumcisions, and seeing outpatient health maintenance and sick visits
