Position Summary:
The Director of Training and Development will provide leadership in evaluating, designing and implementing leadership training programs across Reyes Beverage Group. This role will also have oversight of Instructional Design across all training programs (leadership and functional), aligned with our business objectives. The Director will navigate the complexities of a matrix organization to ensure that learning and development initiatives effectively support both departmental and cross-functional needs.
Position Responsibilities may include, but not limited to:
- Develop and implement a training and development strategy that aligns with the company’s goals and considers the organizational structure.
- Lead the design, delivery and evaluation of training programs to support leadership development, to ensure a strong pipeline of leaders ready for the next role.
- Lead the design team in supporting leadership training efforts as well as efforts to support training & development for the organization more broadly; ensure alignment of expectations, process and strategy for prioritization.
- Partner closely with Human Resources, leadership and internal customers to understand training needs, prioritize initiatives and foster a culture of continuous learning.
- Build and lead a high-performing team. Responsible for setting challenging but achievable goals, managing performance, team training and development and creating an engaging culture aligned with the company’s best-in-class culture.
- Collaborate with capabilities and training and development teams across the enterprise to drive alignment where appropriate and share best practices.
- Partner with Reyes Holdings and leverage and help shape enterprise-wise learning and development programs.
- Establish metrics to measure the impact and ROI of training programs. Regularly evaluate training effectiveness and adjust strategies as needed.
- Navigate and leverage the matrix structure in relation to owned programs (leadership and design) and those owned by others (Operations and Sales, Reyes Holdings, etc.).
- Design training, development and tools that support career pathing and employee achievement of career goals.
- Identify solutions that combine off-the-shelf, in-house and open access training including podcasts, blogs, online courses and leverage the Learning Management System for delivery.
- Stay current with industry trends and best practices in learning and development. Leverage technology and introduce methodologies to enhance effectiveness of training delivery.

Required Skills and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Human Resources, organizational development, learning and development, or a related field.
- 10+ years’ experience in training and development roles, with at least 6 years in a leadership capacity.
- Strong understanding of adult learning principles, instructional design, and training evaluation methodologies.
- Experience with learning management systems.
- Proven ability to create a high performing culture focused on engagement and empowerment.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to build relationships at all levels of the organization, with a demonstrated ability to influence others.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced and changing environment.
- Ability to travel up to 25%.
- This position must pass a post-offer background and drug test.
Preferred Skills and Experience:
- Master’s degree.
- Experience in manufacturing, distribution or consumer packaged goods including alcohol.
- Experience leading in a matrix organization.
