The Role In Brief
Senior Data Analyst, EAB Seramount Consulting
EAB Seramount is a strategic business dedicated to advancing Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion in the workplace. We are hiring a Senior Data Analyst with excellent analytical and presentation skills. This role combines management consulting with diversity, equity, and inclusion knowledge, allowing extraordinary access through Seramount and its brands and the opportunity to do high-impact work. The Senior Analyst will support client engagements, working on a consulting team of EAB Seramount to support strategic consulting and advisory services to top executives across many industries. The cornerstone of our work is using evidence-based approaches to conduct in-company research to develop culture change strategies. The role requires both strong analytical and quantitative skills, and innovative thinking and communications to help support client engagements in crafting cutting-edge strategies for tackling complex culture and talent challenges for senior leadership.
The position is located in Washington, D.C., and is also open to employment in other EAB offices (e.g., Richmond, VA) or open to remote employment within the continental U.S.
Primary Responsibilities
Research
- Conduct qualitative and quantitative analyses (lit reviews, interviews, data analysis, etc.), interpret findings for team members, and decipher meaningful conclusions to larger research questions.
- Support the consulting team’s data analytics, visualization, and statistical needs.
- Contribute to research studies that synthesize complex ideas into actionable advice for partners.
Project Management
- Manage research processes on time (e.g., identifying and scheduling interviews, completing data analysis, creating partner presentations, etc.).
- Meet deadlines to deliver high-quality internal and external project deliverables on time.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to manage processes related to partner-facing events, deliverable production, web publishing, etc.
Communication and Delivery
- Assist in producing and editing internal and external deliverables, including emails, blog posts, insight pieces, white papers, benchmarking reports, interview notes, lit reviews, and other research documents.
- Support with storyboarding partner-facing presentations to communicate research findings and use feedback from managers to improve final deliverables.
- Communicate ideas clearly and logically using executive-focused language, tone, and channel through written deliverables, webinars, and presentations.
Basic Qualifications
- 3+ years of corporate work experience OR Bachelor’s degree with 2+ years of corporate work experience OR graduate degree with 1+ year of corporate work experience.
- Education degree (if attained) and work experience should have a focus on Data Science/Data Analytics, Psychology/Economics, Statistics, or a related technical field.
- Proven quantitative skills, with basic knowledge of statistics and data structures to clean, manipulate, analyze, and report data.
- Knowledge of statistical concepts specifically as they relate to social science research (sampling, effect size, margin of error, statistical significance, etc.).
- Basic understanding of qualitative data/text analysis (interviewing/focus group/open response data, tagging, thematic analysis, etc.).
- Proficiency using analytical tools or programs, with demonstrated ability to quickly learn new analytical tools or programs.
- Experience working with and designing surveys.
- Excellent attention to detail, time-management, and organizational skills.
- Experience with project management software, such as Asana.
- Experience preparing and/or coordinating complex written and verbal materials.
- Excellent organizational, oral, and written communications.
- Proven business acumen and proficient with Excel and PowerPoint.
- Experience with at least two of the following:
- Management or strategy consulting.
- Long-term and/or primary and secondary research.
- Creating partner-facing written and/or data-based deliverables.

Compensation
The anticipated starting salary (base) range for this role is $62,500 to $90,000 per year. Actual salary varies due to factors that may include but not be limited to relevant experience, skills, and location. At EAB, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the starting salary range for their role.
This hire will additionally be eligible for discretionary bonus or incentive compensation. Variable compensation may depend on various factors, such as individual and organizational performance.
