Swedish Medical Group is seeking an Experienced Medical Director and Physician Leader for Palliative Care, a role that will be held concurrently with a Palliative Care Float Physician position. The Medical Director will work clinically with inpatient teams across four hospital campuses throughout the year, ensuring the achievement of program goals while upholding the core values of compassion, dignity, justice, excellence, integrity, and safety. This leadership role offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact in the field of palliative care within a supportive, patient-centered environment. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced physician leader to contribute to the culture-building, care standardization, and strategy development and implementation of a large palliative care team.
Responsibilities
- Full time position split between Medical Director and Clinical FTE.
- The Medical Director position will be held concurrently with a Palliative Care Float Physician position, with the expectation that the Medical Director will work clinically with the inpatient teams at each of the 4 hospital campuses.
- Mix of inpatient and outpatient care.
- Palliative Care provides leadership and oversight to the care of patients in the inpatient and outpatient settings at Providence Swedish Central Service Area and Providence Swedish.
- Sign on bonus.
- Compensation is between $257,009 and $318,396 per year.
- The compensation amounts listed may include productivity or quality/service incentives, call pay, extra shift incentives, as applicable to the position. In addition, providers may have CME benefits available to them.
