Your new role
As our new Senior Lead Consultant, you will join our team of scientists and engineers located in and associated with our Seattle, Washington office, or working remotely from Vancouver, Washington or Portland, Oregon.
Your key responsibilities will be:
- Provide technical analysis of complicated site contamination and regulatory compliance issues and prepare technical reports that effectively communicate findings.
- Evaluate remedial alternatives and develop remedial action plans and cost estimates considering client needs, technical feasibility, and regulatory environment.
- Prepare technical analyses and write reports that effectively communicate findings, including in support of consulting and testifying experts on environmental litigation matters.
- Assess emerging contaminant risks and impacts for sites and portfolios of sites.
- Support the assessment, valuation, management and reporting of environmental liabilities.
- Lead and conduct multiple projects simultaneously and meet high-quality standards on project deliverables.
About you
- B.S. or M.S. in a relevant engineering discipline (civil, environmental, or chemical) or in a relevant science discipline (geology or hydrogeology)
- 8+ years of relevant environmental consulting, including environmental site investigation and characterization, and regulatory review, interpretation, and compliance in the Pacific Northwest region
- Demonstrate experience working with state agencies to pursue site closure
- Experience in scoping environmental assessments to develop proposals, including desktop analysis and field investigations
- Experience with managing a team of supporting scientists to deliver high quality and on-time deliverables

At Ramboll, your base pay is only part of your overall total compensation package. At the time of this posting, this role is likely to be compensated at an annual base salary between $92,000 - $100,500. Actual pay may be more or less than the posted range, depending on numerous factors, including experience, geographical location, internal equity, market conditions, education/training and skill level, and does not include bonuses, overtime, or other forms of compensation or benefits.
