What your new challenge will look like
- Serve as an intralogistics and production (I&P) expert in client engagements, including topics related to intralogistics processes, factory/facility layouts and planning, process automation, AS/RS and other robotics and automation, logistics 4.0 and smart factory.
- Educate and train internal resources in I&P topics.
- Responsibility for establishing and improving technical processes in consulting projects, with a focus on I&P.
- Lead development of North American I&P consulting product offerings and interact with our global practice of experts.
- Develop and implement both company-wide and regional strategies to drive growth and achieve organizational objectives, including setting strategic goals and monitoring execution.
- Take an active role in business development, including acquiring new customers and selling to existing customers, attending conferences, developing proposals, negotiating and closing deals.
- Manage client relationships and projects by taking on project management responsibilities and achieving project objectives.
- Lead the development and implementation of supply chain concepts in consulting projects.
- Support the development of 4flow’s North American organization by enhancing workplace culture and driving initiatives to improve employee engagement.
- Lead team members and guide their professional development.
- Participate in marketing activities such as preparing publications and presentations.
Why you belong at 4flow
- University degree, preferably in business studies (ideally with a major in logistics/SCM) or industrial engineering.
- 10 years of professional experience in consulting (including logistics/SCM) or in one of our key industries (with a focus on SCM/logistics).
- 6+ years’ experience in supply chain consulting, specifically working on projects in I&P, including project management and client development.
- In-depth expertise in intralogistics processes, factory/facility layouts and planning, process automation, AS/RS and other robotics and automation, logistics 4.0 and smart factory.
- Experience in retail or FMCG/CPG industry is preferred.
- Experience developing and managing relationships with clients and selling consulting projects.
- Experience in cascading strategic targets and monitoring execution of goals.
- Experience leading project teams and direct reports, including performance management and fostering employees’ professional development.
- High level of knowledge and expertise in supply chain management and logistics.
- High level of competence in systematic-analytical skills, process thinking, conceptual skills, creative thinking and problem-solving ability.
- Project management and leadership skills.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Experience with working in an international company and with international clients is preferred.
- Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and BI tools such as Tableau Desktop or PowerBI.
- Knowledge of enterprise software is a plus.
