Description
Evans is hiring an Organizational Design & Development resource to join their growing team in one of their contracts in Washington DC. You will play a crucial role in executing leadership development, organizational design, and overall organizational effectiveness. This role requires excellent collaboration, facilitation, and strategic capabilities to drive continuous improvement.
Location Details: This role is hybrid with 1-3 days/week on-site in Washington D.C.
Responsibilities
- Execute organizational development tasks focusing on improving how the system of individuals and teams work with one another internally, as well as with other external stakeholders.
- Provide leadership for organizational design evolutions and implementation of changes.
- Support change initiatives by facilitating communication and engagement with stakeholders.
- Conduct needs assessments and analysis to identify organizational challenges and areas for development.
- Execute strategic planning and decision-making efforts while acting as a cross organizational support advisor.
- Assess and design organizational structures that support business goals and improve efficiency.
- Collaborate with senior leadership to align organizational design and development strategies with business objectives.
- Design and implement organizational structures that support business goals and objectives.
- Oversee initiatives that address organizational challenges, support change management, and foster a culture of continuous learning.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree and 10 years of relevant experience; OR a Master’s degree and 8 years of relevant experience.
- Experience with facilitation, organization development and stakeholder engagement.
- Ability to work with little supervision and to support management, including executive levels.
- Strong organizational development and design experience.
- Stakeholder communication and facilitator experience.
- Strategic planning and advisory experience supporting organizational objectives.
- Experience working in a strategic organizational role and supporting leaders.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Strong team building, coaching, and collaboration skills.
- FAA experience is highly preferred.
- Certification in leadership development or facilitation is a plus.

Compensation
Salary is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $120,000 to $135,000 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Evans’s total compensation package for employees.
