Description
Apple is seeking an experienced products/licensing attorney to focus on product counseling and software licensing in support of Apple’s iCloud-related products and services. This attorney will work closely with Apple’s iCloud engineering, business, and product marketing teams. Responsibilities include providing product advice, handling consumer-facing issues, and managing licensing agreements related to technology for use in Apple’s iCloud-related products, as well as assisting in regulatory compliance for iCloud.
Minimum Qualifications
- 8+ years of relevant legal experience advising on technology product-related issues and negotiating and drafting technology transactions.
- JD or equivalent and admission to at least one US state bar.

- Creative problem-solver with the business acumen to resolve complex issues in creative and efficient ways and provide practical product advice.
- Sound judgment, strong interpersonal skills, ability to work independently, excellent time management and organizational skills, comfortable with healthy debate, and able to handle a variety of matters at once in a fast-paced environment.
- Demonstrated ability to successfully build relationships and work with cross-functional teams, including product marketing, engineering, and business teams to build great customer-facing products and features.
- Experience with international legal and regulatory compliance, privacy, consumer protection, regulatory, open source, and security issues is desirable.
- Experience working on cloud services and user accounts is desirable.
Pay & Benefits
At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $221,600 and $333,200, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location. Apple employees also have the opportunity to become an Apple shareholder through participation in Apple’s discretionary employee stock programs.
