Together with your team, you’ll provide the critical support needed worldwide for all Apple products and businesses. Apple is looking for a resourceful, creative, and practical product attorney to join our team that supports Apple’s developer tools and technologies, software, and platforms teams; the Worldwide Developer Relations organization; and business, product, and legal teams focused on international regulatory compliance.
Primary Responsibilities
Primary responsibilities include advising on a wide variety of issues related to software developers, software tools and technologies for developers to build apps, and platforms for distributing and managing app-based businesses. You will collaborate with other legal groups and cross-functional product, business, and engineering teams to serve as product counsel on a wide variety of tools, technologies, and programs; strategize and advise on regulatory compliance; and draft complex software licenses, development agreements, and program terms. This role will also include advising cross-functional teams on Digital Markets Act implementation and compliance. The candidate will need to both work well with colleagues in California as well as other teams based around the world.
Minimum Qualifications
- 8+ years of legal experience in government, private sector (in-house or law firm), or non-profit sector providing advice, and drafting technology-related terms and agreements.
- Experience advising on software, intellectual property, or technology-related issues.
- Experience providing strategic, practical advice to product, business, and engineering teams on regulatory compliance and inquiries, as well as litigation, related to software or hardware technologies.
- JD or equivalent and admission to at least one US state bar.

Pay & Benefits
At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $221,600 and $333,200, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
