The University of Minnesota School of Dentistry has an opening for a student worker in the research lab of Dr. Louis Mansky. This is an excellent opportunity for students who are interested in a career in research or health care fields to gain experience in an active research lab.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- This is an office and computer-oriented support position that will be overseen by the director and administrative assistant.
Job Duties:
- Perform requested computer tasks in order to meet goals and expectations of the assignment in the requested time period, 75%
- Perform periodic audiovisual support for zoom meetings, 25%
Qualifications
Required Qualifications ** Please detail the required qualifications on your application materials **
- Must be a current U of M student
- Pursuing a Bachelor's degree in the physical sciences/engineering/computer science or in the biological sciences with evidence of a strong technical background in computers
Preferred
- Work-study funds available for 2023-2024 academic year
- Course work in computer science
- Experience in providing computer and audiovisual support
