We are looking to hire a Principal AI Technology Consultant to join Microsoft Federal.

We desire someone with a passion for AI, who possesses experience in Generative AI, Advanced Analytics, Artificial Intelligence, Big Data, Data Platform, Business Intelligence, and Data Visualization with hands-on experience leveraging these platforms in the US Federal sector. The ideal candidate will need to have experience working with external/internal customers delivering Azure AI-based solutions that drive business impact.
Qualifications
Required/Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, or related field AND 6+ years leadership experience in relevant area of business OR equivalent experience.
- 6 years of work experience in the analytics field.
Other Requirements:
- The successful candidate must have an active U.S. Government Secret Security Clearance. Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements are required for this role.
- Clearance Verification: This position requires successful verification of the stated security clearance to meet federal government customer requirements.
- Microsoft Cloud Background Check: This position will be required to pass the Microsoft Cloud background check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter.
Citizenship & Citizenship Verification: This position requires verification of U.S. citizenship due to citizenship-based legal restrictions.
Preferred Qualifications:
- 7+ years of work experience in the analytics field.
- A Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Data Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, or related field.
- 5+ years experience with Python and any of the following (R, SAS, Azure ML, Scala, SparkSQL).
- Master’s/Ph.D in a quantitative field (Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, Engineering, etc.) preferred.
- Technical certifications based on domain/service line (AI, Data Analytics, Machine Learning, Software Engineering).
Responsibilities
Responsibilities include continuing to educate our customers on the power of AI/ML, being one of several key leaders on AI/ML engagements, creating and sharing IP that leverages the power of AI/ML in the Azure cloud, and interacting with senior executives in our customers' enterprises to formulate, build and deliver solutions to the challenges facing their organizations.
The ideal candidate will demonstrate:
- Experience in Generative AI models, statistical modeling, and/or data science.
- Background in integration of AI/ML into applications and systems, including capabilities around computer vision, speech, natural language processing, reinforcement learning, etc.
- Ability to work in a challenging, dynamic environment with multiple interactions across teams with different backgrounds ranging from sales and services to research teams.
- Professional experience in a consulting or IT services organization.
