POSITION SUMMARY
Provides comprehensive medical care to all patients served. Performs all duties in a manner that promotes a team concept and reflects the organization’s mission and vision.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Physician shall cooperate in the establishment of procedures and methods of operation for the office, maintaining in good standing medical staff privileges including attendance at required meetings.
- Performs and documents assessments and data collection in an ongoing, timely, accurate, concise and systematic manner.
- Physician shall render professional services in the office designated and provided by the hospital in accordance with the Physician Employment Agreement.
- Identifies patients and/or significant others’ learning needs and implements appropriate measures to meet these.
- Adapts care to accommodate unexpected changes in patient status.
- Promotes accident prevention and reports potential safety hazards.
- Renders all services promptly and diligently in accordance with the professional and ethical standards of the medical community in which the physician practices.

- Maintains Oregon licensure.
- Fulfills requirements of hospital medical staff credentialing process.
- Maintains active staff membership in good standing with the medical staff of the hospital with all privileges and responsibilities accorded such membership.
