Responsibilities
Position Description:
- Provide oversight and support to the site medical directors and providers at five Wyoming facilities, to include Torrington, Rawlins, Riverton, Lusk, and New Castle.
- Work closely with NaphCare's Chief Medical Officer.
- Provide clinical patient care at times if providers are out.
- Participate in state office administrative meetings via virtual and, at times, in person.
- Ensure compliance with corporate NaphCare clinical and national accreditation practices.
Qualifications
Qualifications for Medical Director:
- Be licensed as a physician in Wyoming
- Possess a current DEA registration
- Currently certified in a Board recognized by the American Board of Medical Specialties
- A valid CPR card
- Experience in primary care with administrative experience in corrections and/or managed health care delivery preferred.
