As the CFO, you will have four principal areas of focus:
Strategic/Board Communication (55%)
- Optimize Balance Sheet and Profitability
- Asset Liability Management
- Analyze Acquisitions and New Opportunities
- Manage Investment Portfolio
- Board Communication/Administration
- Executive Compensation/Comp Committee
- Facilitate and manage strategic planning process/EOS Integrator
Financial Reporting (15%)
- Accounting
- Deposit and Loan Pricing
- Forecasting and Budgeting
- Financial Reporting/Internal Controls
- Payables
- Collateral/Investment administration
Audit/Compliance (15%)
- Strong Audit Program/Controls
- Compliance Management Program
- Relationships with Regulators
- Relationships with External Auditors
- Vendor Management/Contracts
- Audit Committee
Human Resources (15%)
- Facilitating Strong Culture and Employee Experience
- Compensation and Benefit Programs

Supervision
The person in this role directly supervises 3 exempt employees and indirectly manages 3 exempt/non-exempt employees. Leaders at this level are expected to set overall bank vision/strategy/direction and deliver shareholder results, identify and foster the development of leaders for every level of the organization to ensure continuity and long-term growth, preserve and protect the values and culture of the organization, and create a great place to work.

Requirements:
EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS
- BS/BA or equivalent. MBA or CPA preferred
- 15+ years of financial services experience
- Strong understanding of bank deposits, assets, liabilities, and interest margins
- Progressive success in financial leadership roles
- Demonstrated experience leading and developing talent
- Experience managing risk in a highly regulated environment
- Strategic and business acumen; analytical mindset/critical thinker
- Strong written and verbal communication and negotiation skills
