General Description:
The Dermatologist at Evara Health is integral to our mission of delivering comprehensive healthcare by diagnosing and managing a wide range of skin conditions for our diverse patient population. This role entails providing expert medical and surgical dermatological care, including but not limited to the treatment of skin, hair and nail diseases, dermatologic surgery, and cosmetic dermatology. The Dermatologist is expected to collaborate with other healthcare professionals to offer patient-centered care, adhering to the highest standards of medical practice and ethics.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
- Conducts thorough examinations and diagnoses various dermatological conditions.
- Performs surgical procedures for skin diseases and cosmetic concerns, ensuring patient safety and high-quality outcomes.
- Prescribes and administers treatment plans tailored to individual patient needs, emphasizing evidence-based approaches.
- Collaborates with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care for patients with complex dermatological needs.
- Engages in continuous learning to remain abreast of the latest advancements in dermatology and incorporate them into patient care.
- Contributes to patient education on skin health, disease prevention, and treatment options.
- Maintains meticulous patient records, ensuring confidentiality and compliance with healthcare regulations.
- Actively collaborates with and mentors residents, students, and trainees, integrating Evara Health’s mission into clinical education, and supports clinical support staff in delivering comprehensive healthcare.
- Ensures the highest quality of comprehensive health care is provided at the lowest cost.
- Demonstrates knowledge of and compliance with regulatory agencies and established organizational policies and procedures, including strict adherence to all Evara Health, HIPAA, HRSA, State, Federal and accreditation agency rules, and regulations.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Medical Degree (MD or DO) with completed residency in Dermatology.
- Proven experience in clinical and surgical dermatology practice.
- BC/BE in Dermatology.
- Valid and Active Florida medical license.
- BLS certification required.
