Position Overview:
The Sr. Project Manager is responsible for managing program and project execution of NTAM’s most strategic, complex, and highly-valued projects to accelerate our right to win. This role reports into the Head of NTAM Platform Innovation under the COO organization. The right candidate will be part of a multi-faceted fast-paced role that will tap into their business knowledge, technical competence, project execution ability and consultative thinking to drive strategic project execution.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
- Manages execution of complex initiatives involving multiple disciplines and/or ambiguous issues.
- Leads cross-functional teams to drive disciplined execution of strategic projects from initiation to completion.
- Engages with leaders at different levels of the organization to define project objectives, build project plans with clear milestones and OKRs, communicate progress, and drive consensus.
- Simplifies complex issues and identifies creative solutions to drive rapid issue resolution.
- Anticipates project risks and escalates in a timely manner to drive decisions and/or course correction.
- Partners with Automation, Data and Technology Architecture Teams to develop and recommend solutions to achieve project objectives.
- Displays a balanced, cross-functional perspective, liaising with the business to improve efficiency, effectiveness and productivity.
- Communicates project roadmap in terms meaningful to both business and technology organizations to influence, educate and support the implementation of key business, digital and automation capabilities.
Necessary Knowledge and Skills:
- Deep project management expertise with ability to structure complex cross-functional initiatives to enable clarity, completeness, and speed of execution.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills and experience in developing materials and presenting to executive audiences leveraging compelling presentations.
- Strong organizational, analytical and influencing skills are required.
- Results-driven and resourceful individual with proactive and independent problem solving skills.
- Highly flexible and adaptable to change.
- Dynamic relationship building and partnership skills; a strong collaborator with experience leading initiatives across multiple groups and stakeholders.
- Global outlook with sensitivity and awareness of social and cultural differences.
- Strong situational awareness and decision-making capabilities.
Necessary Experience and Education:
- 15+ years of overall experience with at least 5+ years of demonstrated track record of leading and managing high visibility business and technology projects.
- 10+ years of work experience in Asset Management and/or Asset Servicing is a must; ideally in different parts of the business.
- Demonstrated experience of working in matrixed organization to drive delivery and change.
- Experience in business process analysis, design and implementation is a plus.
- Demonstrated experience in leveraging metrics to gauge progress and driving outcomes.
- Proficiency in MS PowerPoint, MS Excel, Project Planning tools such as ADO Boards/Kanban, MS Visio, collaboration and facilitation tools; PowerBI knowledge a plus.
- Bachelor’s Degree required, PMP or Agile certification is a plus.
