A Director of FPA is needed for a well-established corporation on a direct hire basis. The Director of FPA will be instrumental in shaping the financial strategy and driving business performance. This role requires a unique blend of financial expertise, operational insight, and creative problem-solving skills. You will be responsible for financial planning, analysis, and reporting, while also playing a key role in managing and optimizing our growth initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Financial Planning Analysis: Develop and maintain comprehensive financial models, forecasts, and budgets that align with our business strategy and growth objectives.
- Strategic Insight: Provide actionable insights and recommendations based on financial analysis to guide strategic decision-making and operational improvements.
- Growth Management: Support and lead financial aspects of business buildouts, expansions, and turnaround efforts, ensuring alignment with overall company goals.
- Operational Efficiency: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance operational efficiency, streamline processes, and drive performance improvements.
- Deal Focus: Leverage your experience with finance and PE to manage and analyze investment opportunities, acquisitions, and other strategic deals.
- Reporting: Prepare and present financial reports, variance analyses, and performance metrics to senior management, highlighting key trends and areas for improvement.
- Advisory Role: Act as a strategic advisor to senior leadership, providing expertise on financial matters, market trends, and business performance.
Qualifications:
- Experience: Extensive experience in financial planning and analysis, with a background in startups, business turnarounds, or high-growth environments.
- Background: Strong foundation in finance or private equity, with a demonstrated shift into FPA and operations roles.
- Skills: Proficient in financial modeling, budgeting, forecasting, and strategic analysis, with a creative approach to problem-solving and business development.
- Leadership: Ability to lead and influence cross-functional teams, manage complex projects, and drive business results.
- Education: Advanced degree in Finance, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred.
