Frontera Textile Distributors, LLC processes and distributes New and Used clothing and overstock general merchandise and household goods doing business as Novotex Mayoreo and Mastex Ropa y Zapatos Usados. Our affiliated companies include RGT- Rio Grande Trade Auctions, Black Friday’s Daily Discount Store, a multi-state retail organization among other retail operations.
Role Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in big data forecasting, projections, modeling across multiple companies, cost accounting, and manufacturing. The CFO will be responsible for year-long and multi-year forecasting in multiple markets and cash flow management. This role is crucial in managing the organization’s financial health and ensuring the financial growth and sustainability of our business operations. Additionally, this role will also be responsible for seeking, assessing and securing financing options for growth.
Key Responsibilities:
- Financial Strategy and Planning:
- Develop and implement financial strategies aligned with the company's business objectives.
- Provide strategic recommendations to the CEO, COO and members of the executive management team.
- Manage the multiple company's financial planning processes including budgeting, forecasting, and long-term planning.
- Set strategy and manage inter- and intra-company financial relationships.
- Financial Reporting and Analysis:
- Oversee the preparation and analysis of financial reports, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
- Present financial reports to the board of directors, stakeholders, and executive team.
- Conduct financial analysis to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for growth.
- Compliance and Risk Management:
- Ensure compliance with all financial regulations and standards, including GAAP.
- Manage internal controls and audit processes.
- Identify and manage financial risks, implementing mitigation strategies as necessary.
- Operational Finance:
- Oversee day-to-day financial operations, including accounting, payroll, accounts payable, and accounts receivable.
- Optimize the multiple company's financial performance by managing costs and enhancing revenue streams.
- Collaborate with the operations team to improve production efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
- Capital Management:
- Manage the company's capital structure, including debt and equity financing.
- Oversee treasury operations, including cash management, investments, and financing strategies.
- Recommend Strategy for capital investments across multiple businesses.
- Establish and maintain relationships with financial institutions, investors, and other stakeholders.
- Leadership and Team Development:
- Lead and develop the finance and accounting team, fostering a culture of high performance and continuous improvement.
- Provide mentorship and professional development opportunities for finance staff.
- Promote a collaborative and results-driven working environment.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, economics, or a related field; MBA or CPA preferred.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in a senior financial leadership role, with at least 5 years in a CFO role, preferably in the manufacturing industry.
- Strong knowledge of financial regulations, accounting standards, and tax laws.
- Proven track record of strategic financial planning, analysis, and reporting.
- Experience in manufacturing environments, cost accounting, and multi-business unit operations preferred.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in financial software and ERP systems.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

Working Conditions:
Occasional local travel between multiple office locations. Physical demands include prolonged periods of sitting, frequent use of hands and fingers, extended use of computer or other office equipment. Light lifting between 10-15 pounds.
