The Opportunity
PSVS has a rare and exciting opportunity for you, a visionary Cardiologist, to build the specialty service of your dreams and contribute to the culture and development of our hospital. You will have the support of the existing specialties at PSVS, including surgery, internal medicine, ophthalmology, dentistry and coming soon critical care. A fully operational 24-hour ER service, currently located in a separate facility, will be transitioned into our brand new hospital to create the only specialty and emergency hospital on the Olympic peninsula.
We recently completed construction of our state-of-the-art, 21,000 sf facility in Gig Harbor, Washington. You will have your very own brand new cardiology suite with an echocardiology machine of your choice for ease of treatment and comfort. As you develop your service you will have the freedom to order and build your instrumentation and tool set directly in line with your own preference!
Our hospital facility will also include a dedicated ICU with long-term mechanical ventilation, full in-house lab, 64-slice CT, MRI, ultrasound, in-house blood-bank and component therapy, I-131 therapy, minimally invasive surgery, flexible and rigid endoscopy, and fluoroscopy and more.
Our ideal candidate is board-certified with experience. You would value and foster a hospital culture of compassionate care, promote teamwork, and inclusivity with the vision to expand our core values and hospital vision.
