What success looks like in this role:
- Supports a client company's VIP user base by applying exceptional technical and interpersonal skills.
- May function as team or site leader providing direction to other technicians.
- Provides support for software, hardware, and networking for desktops, laptops, and servers.
- May have project management responsibilities for some projects.
- Installs and maintains PCs and associated software, networks, servers, and peripherals.
- Supports network products from operational and maintenance perspectives.
- Performs installs, moves, adds, and changes as required.
- Tests and certifies PCs, networks, servers, and client-approved applications.
- Provides follow-up on problems or escalation.
- Maintains a high degree of professionalism in actions, demeanor, and dress.
- Ensures customer satisfaction throughout the service delivery transaction.
- Ensures client-specific Service Level Agreements are met and incident and request tickets are updated accordingly within the ticketing system.
You will be successful in this role if you have:
- High degree of interpersonal skills with demonstrated capability and experience supporting VIP clients.
- Ability to manage small teams of technicians via an indirect management style.
- Troubleshooting software and hardware problems.
- Knowledgeable in servers, Microsoft/Linux/Unix applications, network protocol, internetworking, configuration, and possess advanced PC support capability, along with knowledge of client-specific internal procedures and service delivery requirements.
- Excellent analytical and client communication skills with the ability to use considerable judgment and initiative to recommend solutions.
Must Have:
- Team Management/Project management experience.
- Duties will include walking from one end of the facility to another, sitting, standing, climbing, squatting, cabling, etc. Should be able to complete all of these tasks with reasonable accommodations.
