As a Change & Transformation Consultant at the Senior Consultant or Associate Director level, you’ll have responsibility to work with top-tier business leaders, diagnose organizational health, set transformation outcomes, architect transformation journeys and solutions, lead engagements and build capability across BTS. This role centers around the following responsibilities:
- Structure, frame, and solve complex organizational and execution problems
- Bring all the BTS capabilities to bear in designing and leading complex, multi-workstream projects and client-specific change and transformation execution journeys
- Manage teams on client engagements to diagnose problems, design interactive client experiences and facilitate client interactions ranging from project check-ins to senior executive sessions or large off-sites
- Contribute to thought leadership
- Build strong client relationships resulting in identification and expansion of business development opportunities
- Play a meaningful role in growth and scaling of the practice by participating in and contributing to the team’s professional development and mentorship and growth of BTS colleagues outside of the practice
Our Change & Transformation Center of Excellence brings together the best of traditional management consulting and innovative experiential human interaction design to drive change execution for our clients. We focus on all types of high-visibility large-scale change and transformations where we take responsibility with our clients for driving the leader-readiness/people-side of change, using our core simulations, and assessments and coaching, as well as:
- Upfront Advisory to Architect Transformational Journeys
- C-Suite advisory and designed working sessions
- Broader consulting services required over-time to embed mindset and behavior change and ensure the leader readiness and ownership of the transformation execution
A Change & Transformation consultant would describe themselves as:

The experience includes facilitating client working sessions and offsites, conducting discovery and designing approaches, partnering with other BTSers to build new and deeper client relationships and pursue change & transformation opportunities, though over time they may not be looking for new clients so much as finding and expanding ways to support this type of work with existing clients
We have a hybrid work environment with expectations of being in the office 50% of the time when you’re not traveling. On average you’ll travel 30-50% of the time, occasionally more than 50%, occasionally less than 30%.

Experience and Background Requirements & Preferences:
- Bachelor’s degree, ideally an MBA, or equivalent experience
- Minimum five years' experience in professional services, management consulting, organizational development and/or leadership development
- Experience in a client-facing role that involved developing new and existing client relationships, as well as project leadership and engagement management. Previous work history in account management is a plus.
- Excellent grasp of business strategy PLUS organizational and leadership issues
- Eligibility to work in the US permanently without sponsorship is required

Annual Salary Range, based on experience and education: $110,000 - 165,000
