The University of Illinois College of Medicine Peoria is seeking a Urogynecologist who is Board-certified/Board-eligible in Female Pelvic Medicine & Reconstructive Surgery to join an expanding academic department. Position Summary
The Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at the Peoria campus of the University of Illinois College of Medicine seeks a full-time Urogynecologist to provide comprehensive health care in both inpatient and ambulatory settings, including actively participating in the educational and clinical training of residents and medical students.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in Urogynecology, encompassing both outpatient and inpatient settings.
- Actively participate in the teaching, training, mentoring, and precepting of OB/GYN residents and medical students.
- Engage in scholarly activity.
- Contribute to departmental initiatives aimed at enhancing patient outcomes and healthcare delivery.
- Perform other related duties and participate in special projects as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications
- MD or DO
- Board-certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology
- Board-certified/board-eligible in Female Pelvic Medicine & Reconstructive Surgery
- Licensed or eligible for licensure in the State of Illinois
Preferred Qualifications
- Demonstrated ability to teach residents and medical students.
- Experience or interest in research and academic leadership.
