The Department of Pediatrics, Division of Neonatology at Ann & Robert H. Lurie Children's Hospital of Chicago and Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine seeks a full-time non-tenure-eligible Clinician-Educator at the rank of Instructor/Assistant Professor. The clinical responsibilities will be located at the academic medical centers of Lurie Children's NICU (Level IV) and the Northwestern Prentice Women's Hospital NICU (Level III) and will include attending high-risk deliveries and managing the care of critically ill newborns. The academic responsibilities will include participation in education, clinical research, quality improvement, and development of an area of expertise of the individual's choosing.
Qualified candidates will be Board-certified or eligible in Neonatal-Perinatal Medicine. The initial academic appointment at the Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine will be at the rank of Instructor up to Assistant Professor commensurate with experience and academic achievement. The salary is competitive and commensurate with experience.
The start date is negotiable and the position will remain open until filled.
