We're looking for an experienced Senior Site Reliability Engineer to join our Site Reliability Engineering team. Reporting to the Manager, Site Reliability Engineering, you'll be responsible for:
- Working with Software Engineering and Infrastructure teams to design, implement, and deploy end-to-end monitoring solutions.
- Managing the deployment of patches, upgrades, and administrative tools/utilities.
- Monitoring applications & services, participating in on-call rotations, and addressing issues while developing strategies to prevent future incidents.
- Troubleshooting problems, resolving issues, and communicating solutions.
What We're Looking for (Minimum Qualifications)
- 3+ years as a Site Reliability Engineer or in a related role within a SaaS organization.
- Proficiency in a programming language (e.g., Python, Go) and scripting languages (e.g., Bash).
- High-level understanding of networking protocols and components such as HTTP, DNS, TCP/IP, ICMP, the OSI Model, Subnetting, and Load Balancing.
- Willingness and flexibility to work after hours/weekends for application releases and deployments.
What Will Make You Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)
- Previous NOC/SRE on-call experience.
- Understanding of SRE basics, including Golden signals.
- Experience with CI/CD and automation framework development.
