The Role
Are you ready to make a real impact and drive business outcomes through technology? As a Senior Terraform Consultant at Kyndryl, you'll have the opportunity to work on exciting projects, collaborate with innovative thinkers, and help our customers achieve unprecedented success.
You'll be responsible for developing and maintaining our Terraform CI/CD pipeline, troubleshooting technical issues, and supporting private and public cloud platforms. Your technical expertise will be crucial in designing, developing, and deploying automation solutions using Terraform. You'll also lead complex initiatives to develop infrastructure solutions for business applications, participate in projects to improve or upgrade our infrastructure, and evaluate software solutions to achieve target state architecture goals.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Design, build, deploy and maintain Terraform solutions through collaborative efforts with the team and third-party vendors.
Design, code, test, debug, and document programs using Agile development practices.
Make decisions in technical designs, implementation plans, and identify project risks and resource requirements.
Direct the daily risk and control flow of operations, focusing on policies, procedures, and work standards to ensure success.
Recommend courses of action to maintain cost effectiveness and achieve results.
Collaborate and consult with peers, customers, colleagues, and managers to resolve issues and achieve goals.
Build, manage, and support CI/CD orchestration pipelines for Terraform and deploy/test across environments.
Integrate with enterprise tools and environment standards.
Define the approach to larger/more complex solution development and acceptance testing.
Contribute to the overall platform architecture.
Collaborate with application teams and onboard new application platforms onto the Ansible framework and author playbooks.
Lead or participate in high-level technical concepts spanning technology and business.
Develop specifications for complex infrastructure systems, design, and test solutions.
Review and analyze solutions for security, secrets management, and key rotations.
Develop a long-range plan designed to resolve problems and prevent them from recurring.
Execute on the Infrastructure as Code initiative for the cloud strategy for the enterprise.
Work on designing and strategizing next-generation CI/CD pipelines.
As a trusted advisor, you'll forge strong relationships with our customers, gaining deep insights into their business objectives and long-term aspirations. Armed with this understanding, you'll provide expert guidance on how technology can be leveraged to propel them towards unprecedented success. From aligning processes to technology to developing and deploying bespoke solutions, you'll be the visionary architect behind their digital transformation journey. Your expertise in application development and deployment best practices will ensure seamless integration and optimized performance.

Required Skills and Experience
5+ years of experience in application development and deployment in Terraform.
5+ years in application migration and modernization.
5+ years in application architecture, middleware, and data experience.
Experience with a variety of technologies including BI, database principles, programming fundamentals, SQL, hardware/software, operating systems, and networking.
Strong technical acumen & deep working knowledge of Agile Methods, Service Architecture, and enterprise Cloud Integration.
Strong ability to influence, collaborate and build relationships with key stakeholders, vendors, and cross-functional teams.
Preferred Skills and Experience
SaaS application implementation experience: (Oracle E-Business Suite, NetSuite, Infor, Unit 4, PeopleSoft, Oracle Cloud ERP, SAP, Lawson, etc.)
Application modernization tools, e.g., CAST.
Experience in using and implementing DevSecOps processes.
Experience in assisting stakeholders in quantifying risks and developing mitigation and remediation strategies.
The compensation range for the position in the U.S. is $134,160 to $254,880 based on a full-time schedule. Your actual compensation may vary depending on your geography, job-related skills, and experience. For part-time roles, the compensation will be adjusted appropriately. The pay or salary range will not be below any applicable state, city, or local minimum wage requirement.
There is a different applicable compensation range for the following work locations:
California: $147,600 to $305,880
Colorado: $134,160 to $254,880
New York City: $161,040 to $305,880
Washington: $147,600 to $280,320
This position will be eligible for Kyndryl's discretionary annual bonus program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Kyndryl's applicable plans. You may also receive a comprehensive benefits package which includes medical and dental coverage, disability, retirement benefits, paid leave, and paid time off. Note: If this is a sales commission eligible role, you will be eligible to participate in a sales commission plan in lieu of the annual discretionary bonus program.
