Job Description
Starling Physicians has a current opening for a Board Certified Nephrologist. The practice offers the complete spectrum of Nephrology care, including office practice, multiple dialysis clinics (including home hemo), and all inpatient and ICU renal care at a single tertiary, academic hospital. This position includes opportunities for outpatient and inpatient transplant service for transplant fellowship-trained providers. The practice also owns a community outpatient vascular access center with 2 interventional nephrologists and 2 full-time access surgeons.
Responsibilities include:
- Team-based (18 physician/5 APP) hospital coverage is roughly 1:5 weekends.
- Credentialed and Medical Directorships at 15 different dialysis facilities.
- Call coverage roughly 1:12 nights.
- 3 transplant certified nephrologists integrated with top NE transplant center.
- Profitable Vascular Access Center for over 18 years.
- Clinical research opportunities through Starling and the hospital system.
- Opportunities for Resident Teaching.
Requirements include:
- Must be able to obtain Connecticut licensure before you begin practicing.
- Board Certification and DEA license required.
