Job Posting Description: The Director of Infrastructure will lead the strategic planning, development, and execution of the company's IT infrastructure. This role will oversee multiple teams, including Virtualization/VMware, Citrix, SAN Storage, Software Defined Datacenter, Server Systems, Database Administrators, Desktop Engineering, and Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (VDI). The Director of Infrastructure will ensure the efficient and secure operation of the company's IT systems and support the growth and scalability of the business.
Responsibilities:
- Developing and implementing an IT infrastructure strategy aligned with the company's business goals.
- Leading and mentoring a team of IT professionals across various technologies.
- Ensuring the smooth operation and availability of IT systems and services.
- Planning and executing infrastructure projects, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and meeting quality standards.
- Developing and managing the infrastructure budget, ensuring cost-effective solutions and maximizing ROI.
- Implementing and maintaining robust security measures to protect company data and systems.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree is required; Master’s is preferred.
- Certification in EMC Proven Professional, NetApp Certified Data Administrator, or equivalent is preferred.
- Minimum of 12 years of experience is required.
- In-depth understanding of IT infrastructure components, including hardware, software, networking, and data storage systems.
- Extensive knowledge of virtualization technologies (e.g., VMware, Hyper-V), Citrix environments, SAN storage solutions, and software-defined data centers.
- Comprehensive knowledge of cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and hybrid cloud strategies.
- Exceptional leadership and people management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Other Information:
This is a hybrid position with a 2-day-a-week onsite requirement.
