You are a listener, an educator and a gifted cultivator of new and exciting opportunities grounded in science.
In this role, you will:
- Identify and forge professional peer-to-peer relationships with clinically focused key opinion leaders (KOLs), other Healthcare Professionals (HCPs) and Pharmacy & Therapeutics among other stakeholders.
- Educate pediatricians, pediatric endocrinologists and ancillary staff primarily located in tertiary health systems, on disease state, current unmet medical needs in CHI and Dasiglucagon data.
- Leverage expertise to enhance and broaden knowledge among field medical team colleagues, including Clinical Nurse Educators (CNEs).
- Continue to identify and engage KOLs and key stakeholders beyond Centers of Excellence, raising awareness and advocacy, and expand targets based on information and exchange demands.
Minimum Requirements:
- Advanced degree in the life sciences or medical field (MD, PharmD, NP, PA or Dietetics or a certified diabetes educator / CDE) or relevant medical experience.
- Strong understanding of relevant policies guiding the pharmaceutical industry.
- Ability to travel local, regional and national is required. Possess a valid driver’s license to drive to assigned healthcare accounts, unless otherwise specified.
Desired Requirements:
- Previous experience in field-based medical role within a pharmaceutical or biotechnology company.
- Experience in rare disease is highly preferred.
- Experience in continuous delivering device (subcutaneous infusion) is a plus.
