We’re now looking for a Creative Director to elevate Vanta’s brand to the next level, scale our marketing efforts across new channels, and evolve our identity to meet the needs of Vanta’s ever growing customer personas.
In this role, you will oversee both our internal team of Art Directors and Designers and our external network of agencies and freelancers to produce creative that delights our customers, drives demand, and reflects Vanta’s unique brand personality as trusted experts - with a wink.
What you’ll do as Vanta’s Creative Director:
- Team leadership: Mentor, empower and develop a talented team of creatives by embodying Vanta’s principles: lead with resilience and win as one team.
- Customer centricity: Expand our brand identity to ensure its appeal and relevance for Vanta’s broad set of customer personas - from startup founders to enterprise CISOs. Demonstrate a deep empathy for Vanta’s customers by translating marketing and brand insights into impactful creative that’s appropriate for the audience and channel.
- Campaigns: Cultivate and execute novel concepts for brand activations and campaigns across digital, video, social, and experiential. Communicate and present those design concepts and strategies effectively to stakeholders. Work closely with Growth, PMM, Product Design, and Content to scale, measure and iterate campaigns.
- Differentiation: Continue to build a differentiated brand that stands apart from competitors and manifests in experiences - from trade show booths to digital activations - that feel uniquely Vanta.
- Execution: Oversee creative production across multiple projects to deliver on-time and high-quality assets that fuel our business. Manage resourcing across in-house creatives, contractors, and agency partners. Ensure all creative output is cohesive and aligned with the brand’s core objectives, vision, and tone.
How to be successful in this role:
- 10+ years of Brand Design experience, ideally with several years in-house at a high growth tech company.
- 5+ years of managing and mentoring high-performing creative teams.
- A killer portfolio of previous work, ideally with strong B2B SaaS examples.
- Curiosity for or experience in cybersecurity and/or compliance.
- Track record of building strong cross-functional relationships across UX Design, PMM, Growth Marketing, and more.
- Experience working with external agencies and contractors (and a rolodex of proven partners).
- A balance of creative and operational excellence.

To provide greater transparency to candidates, we share base pay ranges for all US-based job postings regardless of state. We set standard base pay ranges for all roles based on function, level, and country location, benchmarked against similar-stage growth companies. Final offer amounts are determined by multiple factors, including candidate location, skills, depth of work experience, and relevant licenses/credentials, and may vary from the amounts listed below. The salary or OTE range for this position is $200,000 - $235,000. This role may also be eligible for commissions/bonus, equity, medical benefits, 401(k) plan, and other company perk programs.
