Description
As the Chief Financial Officer (CFO) of CFS Technologies, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of Finance for the group including on-site leadership for the current group in North Little Rock, Arkansas. Your primary focus will be on driving process consistency along with data-driven insights for profitable growth. We are seeking a dynamic leader with a strong business acumen and proven experience in managing a diverse team for profitable growth. Note that this role encompasses the current operations for Lafferty Equipment, Lavo Solutions and Knight and will elevate in scope as additional acquisitions are closed within the group.
Responsibilities:
· Team Leadership: Lead, motivate, and enhance a high-performing team to achieve excellent results.
· Strategic Leadership: Develop and implement strategic plans to enhance profitability, productivity, and efficiency throughout the company’s operations.
· Financial Oversight: Manage the business’ financial performance, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial statement management.
· Acquisition leadership: Provide input in target identification, drive financial diligence and financial integration for acquired businesses.
· Compliance and Quality Control: Ensure compliance with all legal and regulatory requirements and uphold the highest standards of quality and consistency.
· Drive periodic board reporting including presentation of financial statements.
Key Metrics for the First 12 Months:
1. Drive financial accountability for business metrics and monitor improvement plans across the organization.
2. Evaluate acquisitions and close on $25M+ in annualized revenue.
3. Drive cost evaluation and optimization to improve SG&A as a % of sales to 17%.
Compensation:
A competitive compensation package, including a comprehensive benefits plan, will be offered based on experience and qualifications. Equity will also be a likely component.
Requirements
· Minimum of 10 years of experience in a Finance leadership role within a manufacturing environment.
· Proven track record of financial statement ownership and commercial success.
· Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate a diverse and growing team.
· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
· Bachelor’s degree in Accounting and a CPA. CFA and other accreditations are a positive.
· International exposure strongly recommended.
