A full-service tax and accounting firm in Park City, Utah, is seeking a strong Senior Tax Manager to lead its tax practice. This position will involve significant client interaction, requiring you to be personable, confident, and professional. You should also possess a high level of organization, be a self-starter, and be able to work with minimal supervision. You must have a great attitude and be a model example to other staff and team members.
- Compensation: $90k+ DOE

What You Will Do
- Manage the preparation of business and personal tax returns from start to finish
- Develop, motivate, and coach various team members
- Utilize exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills
- Maintain strong knowledge of current federal, state, and local tax laws and regulations
- Provide comprehensive tax planning guidance and advice to clients
- Research complex tax issues and develop tax planning strategies
- Review tax returns prepared by others for accuracy and compliance
What You Will Bring
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or tax
- Minimum of 5 years of tax preparation experience in a Public Accounting setting
- Master’s in Taxation(preferred)
- CPA certification(preferred)
- Proficiency in Ultra Tax and Thomson Reuters Suite(preferred)
- Strong proficiency in tax software and Microsoft Office Suite
- Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and work independently with minimal supervision
