Adobe is looking for a Director for Enterprise GenAI to lead a hard-working team designing the future of GenAI content creation for agencies and businesses. Partnering with product and engineering executives, you will provide strategic design direction and elevate the talent within your team. What you’ll do
- Grow and establish a user-centric design practice that focuses both on long-term vision and near-term goals serving the needs of creative teams and agencies to produce content at scale.
- Drive a design-led innovation practice, diplomatically balancing inputs from multiple partners while representing a strong and confident POV.
- Build an impactful collaborative environment and encourage deep partnerships with cross-functional teams, setting a high bar for design craft, conceiving, defining, and driving design strategy.
- Work across a complex product-space serving as a champion for cohesive workflows and empowering your team to drive alignment across collaborators.
- Get involved on key workstreams, being responsible for the strategy and execution for high-impact projects.
- Work with partners on defining business goals and drive user experience decisions around those business goals.
- You will help develop and drive a team-wide design process, collaborating closely with program management.
- You will represent the team and the team’s work to executives.
- You will coach and mentor designers. You will attract design talent to the team, hire, grow, retain and promote designers.
What you need to succeed
- Empathetic leadership to foster an inclusive and empowering environment for the designers to do innovative and impactful work.
- A deep understanding of creative team and agency workflows and personal experience in the problem space.
- A background in leading a team and succeeding within a matrix organization.
- Experience influencing and championing user-centric design across functions.
- A track record for working with executives on ambiguous problems and crafting big-picture strategies driven by design.
- The ability to facilitate collaboration across product/design/engineering teams in early stages of strategic projects. This may sometimes involve driving design thinking workshops.
- Deep expertise in problem framing from customers’ point of view and solving problems through storytelling and high design craft.
- Being able to socialize new insights and ideas with design rationale grounded in user research and business goals. Your leadership will incite the team to take action for better user and business outcomes. You will need to have excellent written, oral, presentation and storytelling skills to be successful.

Compensation
Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several U.S. geographic markets, and we pay differently based on those defined markets. The U.S. pay range for this position is $156,200 -- $315,600 annually. Pay within this range varies by work location and may also depend on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. At Adobe, for sales roles starting salaries are expressed as total target compensation (TTC = base + commission), and short-term incentives are in the form of sales commission plans. Non-sales roles starting salaries are expressed as base salary and short-term incentives are in the form of the Annual Incentive Plan (AIP).
In addition, certain roles may be eligible for long-term incentives in the form of a new hire equity award.
