Join Our Payer Strategy & Contracting (PSC) Division
Our PSC Division guides clients through payer strategy development, reimbursement analysis and design, contract negotiations, and other strategic and operational issues affecting commercial and government revenue streams. As part of our team, you’ll help our clients optimize their managed care portfolios and develop successful value-based reimbursement strategies and contracts.

As a senior consultant at ECG, you’ll be an important part of our consulting team. Your Responsibilities May Include:
- Leading appropriate client presentations.
- Leading information-gathering efforts.
- Conducting stakeholder interviews.
- Assisting in developing and managing work plans, schedules, and budgets.
- Leading project management.
- Analyzing, synthesizing, and interpreting data to inform client recommendations.
- Using financial modeling to conduct in-depth analyses and recommend executable strategies.
- Defining project analyses and deliverables.
- Leading teams and implementing recommended solutions.
- Working on multiple engagements.
- Communicating project progress and seeking input.
- Identifying follow-on opportunities and helping scope and close such engagements.
- Working closely with multiple project teams and ECG’s senior consulting leaders.
- Presenting results to our clients’ C-suite leaders.
- Taking responsibility for project outcomes.
- Communicating effectively with management and executive-level client staff.
- Learning about ECG’s breadth of solutions and identifying those that reflect personal and professional interests.
- Participating in peer and junior staff knowledge development and career advancement.
- Demonstrating the ability to excel at consulting while balancing work and personal life.
- Acting as an ECG ambassador within personal, professional, and alumni networks.
Our Expectations of You
- Strong knowledge and passion for the healthcare industry.
- Master’s degree in business administration and/or a health-related field; bachelor’s degree in business or a health-related field preferred.
- 3+ years of experience in healthcare consulting and managed care contracting and reimbursement strategies.
- Proven track record of solving complex problems and completing challenging projects.
- Demonstrated diagnostic, analytical, and quantitative skills.
- Track record of strong client service.
- Demonstrated career progression with increasing responsibilities.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel, SQL, and Python skills.
- Strong written and verbal presentation skills.
- Ability to travel at least 30% of the time.
Job Locations
Atlanta, Boston, Chicago, Dallas, Minneapolis, Seattle, San Diego, St. Louis or Washington DC. Atlanta, Boston, and Washington, DC preferred. This position has in-office responsibilities. Must be able to work a hybrid schedule with days in the office and days remote.

The estimated base salary range for this job is $123,000 to $138,000 annually. It represents a good faith estimate of the range that ECG reasonably expects to pay at the time of the job posting. The actual salary paid will vary based on multiple factors, including but not limited to years of experience, special skills, and market changes. This job is eligible to participate in ECG’s annual incentive compensation program, which reflects ECG’s pay-for-performance philosophy. The job is also eligible to participate in ECG’s benefit plans, which includes medical, dental, and vision coverage, unlimited PTO, and other wellness programs.
