This firm is seeking an experienced Mid or Senior Level Environmental Engineer to take on critical projects within the Great Lakes region. In this role, you will assume a key role as an engineer/designer for stream and ecosystem restoration design, wetland restoration, and other water resources projects.
Responsibilities:
- Lead ecosystem restoration design including living shoreline designs and climate adaptation planning.
- Conduct assessments related to climate change vulnerabilities concerning water levels and ecological responses.
- Support business development through opportunity tracking, proposal contributions, and schedule maintenance.
- Serve clientele ranging from federal agencies like the US EPA and National Park Service to local commercial and non-profit entities.
What You'll Bring:
- Professional Engineer licensure.
- A minimum of 10 years experience in environmental engineering consulting.
- Background in design and permitting in areas such as stormwater, wetlands, stream restoration, and surface water drainage systems.
- Outstanding project management and leadership skills.
