Role Overview
As the Senior Product Marketing Manager, reporting into the Head of Marketing, you will lead product marketing for the company, working cross-functionally with stakeholders from product management, sales, marketing, ops, and the executive team. You will have primary responsibility for product positioning and messaging, developing and executing internal and external product launch plans, and creating tight alignment between the EPD organization and the marketing team.
Key Responsibilities
Market Research & ICP Definition:
- Conduct market research and customer research to understand customer and prospect needs.
- Conduct and support market sizing and opportunity analysis to identify new markets and new ICPs.
- Track record of using customer centricity to drive marketing and sales impact.
- Conduct competitive analysis and leverage competitive insights to inform marketing strategy and enable internal teams.
Product Strategy & Development:
- Collaborate with product, design, and engineering teams to ensure the product development process and product roadmap prioritization aligns with the core needs of our target ICP.
- Own the product launch process in partnership with Product Managers to ensure GTM teams, prospects, and customers understand the value of new products and features.
- Partner with GTM teams to create strategies that drive growth.
- Support the development of pricing and packaging strategies.
Content Creation & Campaign Management:
- Deeply understand how our product supports customers’ business needs.
- Write and review product-focused copy to ensure it is accurate, compelling, and aligned with the pain points & needs of our ICP.
- Create effective content, including sales materials, case studies, whitepapers, blog posts, and other marketing collateral that supports product positioning and messaging and drives top-of-the-funnel engagement.
Sales Enablement:
- Understand our sales team DNA and equip them with the right level and type of information to sell more effectively, including developing sales tools, trainings, and collateral.
Cross-Functional Coordination & Leadership:
- Coordinate, communicate, and influence cross-functionally (with EPD, sales, customer success, and enablement) to ensure alignment across marketing and company priorities.
- Work effectively with the executive team to communicate strategy, get alignment and support for critical message and positioning strategies.
Who You Are:
- Minimum of 10 years product marketing experience.
- Team first mindset; we are a humble and hungry group sharing one mission.
- Willing to roll up your sleeves and get your hands dirty; no job is too big or too small.
- Executive presence and ability to navigate diverse opinions and manage a group toward consensus.
- Passionate to deeply understand the industry you are working in, via available resources and your own initiative.
- Deep experience with product launch processes in agile organizations.
- Can project manage and work efficiently across departments and LOBs.
- Familiarity with demand generation strategies and ability to contribute to growth strategies.
- Excels under high pressure in fast-paced environments with competing priorities.

Salary Range: In compliance with the California Pay Transparency Law, the base salary range for this role is between $145,000 - $175,000 in San Francisco. This range is not inclusive of our discretionary bonus or equity package. When determining a candidate’s compensation, we consider a number of factors including skillset, experience, job scope, and current market data.
